Shipping from production plant in Bavaria (Germany)

DE: You will receive a domestic delivery with the Incoterm 2020® DAP* destination and a EUR invoice with DE VAT**.

EU: You will receive an intra-community delivery with the Incoterm 2020® DAP* destination and a EUR invoice without VAT.

CH/LI: Import customs clearance in Switzerland is handled by Vögtlin Instruments GmbH. You will receive a domestic delivery with the Incoterm 2020® DDP* destination and a CHF invoice with CH VAT.

REST OF THE WORLD: You will receive a tax-exempt delivery due to export with the Incoterm 2020® DAP* destination.

Shipping from service location in Muttenz (Switzerland)

CH/LI: You will receive a domestic delivery with the Incoterm 2020® DAP* destination and a CHF invoice with CH VAT.

DE: Import customs clearance in Germany is handled by Vögtlin Instruments GmbH. You will receive a domestic shipment with the Incoterm 2020® DDP* destination and a EUR invoice with DE-VAT*.

EU: We import the shipments to the EU (via Germany) in procedure 4000, this allows us to issue you an intra-community delivery with the Incoterm 2020® DAP* destination and a EUR invoice without VAT.

ATTENTION: Due to the new VAT legislation of the EU, which came into force on 01 July 2021, we can no longer import orders with a goods receipt of up to 150.- EUR into the EU in procedure 4000 and send them to another EU country.

Therefore, in these cases you will receive a third country delivery from Switzerland with the Incoterm 2020® DAP* destination, this will result in you having to pay import VAT, customs duties if applicable and customs clearance costs for the import to UPS.

REST OF THE WORLD: You will receive a tax exempt shipment due to export with the Incoterm 2020® DAP* destination.

*Incoterm 2020® DAP/DDP: Transportation and packaging costs will be charged to the customer, contrary to the Incoterm clause. All other points of the Incoterm clause remain unaffected.

**DE-VAT: We are authorized by the tax office Konstanz to charge German VAT.
