The volume changes when the temperature and\/or the pressure change. When specifying a gas volume, the reference temperature and the reference pressure must thus also always be specified. The flow unit is than referred to as normalized (f.i. ln\/min) or standardized flow (f.i. ls\/min)<\/p>\n<p>When we refer to \u201cNormal\u201d flow we in general use:<br \/>\nTemperature Tn = 273,15 K, corresponds to 0 \u00b0C<br \/>\nPressure Pn = 1013,25 mbar abs<\/p>\n<p>When we refer to \u201cStandard\u201d flow we in general use:<br \/>\nTemperature Tn = 293,15 K, corresponds to 20 \u00b0C<br \/>\nPressure Pn = 1013,25 mbar abs<br \/>\nSee also: <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Standard_conditions_for_temperature_and_pressure\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/standard conditions<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Not everyone understands standard conditions in the same way.
